So let’s talk about Sandpoint Idaho with Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho’s largest lake.
This is a gorgeous place to visit with a chill pace. Sandpoint’s motto is “What a beautiful pace” (that’s not a typo.) They pride themselves on keeping a small-town vibe.
Add on top of that, Sandpoint was named the “most beautiful town in America” by USA Today and Rand McNally. It sits between three mountain ranges, is located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and is situated at the foot of Schweitzer Mountain ski and board resort, which is Idaho’s biggest resort by area. We highly encourage finding a canoe to explore Pend Oreille.
This place boasts a lively arts community and has an acclaimed culinary/dining scene, all while retaining an authentic-small-town feel. Combined with the wealth of outdoor activities, you can enjoy this beautiful place doing whatever you like. (We again encourage something boat related 😉
