As you know, we here at Lakes Escapes Boat Rentals love all things water. So when the local Water Lantern Festival rolls around each year, it’s an exciting event in our book.
Here are the details if you’d like to take your family to this memorable evening.
Spokane Water Lantern Festival
Where: Q’emiln Park 12201 W Parkway Drive, Post Falls, ID 83854
When: September 7, 2019 from 5:30-10pm
Event Schedule:
- 5:30 Gates Open
- 5:30 – 8:30 Enjoy Food Trucks / Music / Fun
- 7:00 Design your Lantern
- 8:30 – 10:00 Lantern Launch
That’s right, you get to decorate your own lantern in whatever beautiful way you’d like and then, after dark, light the lantern up and set it afloat with hundreds of others to make the water glow. What a fun way to make memories with the family. Note, this is a family friendly event and the cost of your tickets includes the clean up of the lanterns after the festival. So don’t worry about littering the water. We wouldn’t encourage that sort of thing 😉
