When it’s still chilly out, we understand wake surfing or tubing might not be the ideal way to spend your day. So, while the weather makes boat rentals less likely, we encourage other ways to enjoy and experience the Coeur d’Alene area. That’s were Igloos on Lake Coeur d’Alene comes in.

This is an ongoing special through the end of March put on by the Coeur d’Alene Resort. You can breathe in the fresh air of the Inland Northwest, soak in the mountainous scenery, and gaze longingly at the beautiful waters of the lake, all while sitting in an igloo on the Whisper’s outdoor patio. This makes it feel just like you’re sitting on Lake Coeur d’Alene itself. Enjoy frosty cocktails and gorgeous views.
The menu includes cocktails such as hard hot chocolate to an apple old fashioned that can be sipped while you savor some roasted garlic shrimp or a plate of prime rib sliders. Yum.
For a more casual experience, there’s open seating between 10am and 3pm. Or for a more romantic setting with amazing sunsets, make reservations for seating between 4pm and 10pm.
