This weekend’s the Fourth of July!

If you’re looking for an event to celebrate and are in the Coeur d’Alene area, (boating, we hope) you might consider Silverwood’s Fireworks Extravaganza for your fill of exploding color displays celebrating the nation’s anniversary.

The event promises patriotic music and fireworks that might be the largest display in the region. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and stake your claim to a spot on the lawn of main street.

Otherwise, you can also sit back and enjoy the fireworks over Lake Coeur d’Alene from the more secluded vantage of your boat. This fireworks display also starts at about dusk (that’s about 9:45 pm).

During the day, (if you’re not out on the water, of course) there’s both the American Heroes Parade at 11 a.m. and the Festival in the Coeur d’Alene City Park beginning at 10 a.m. with live music, vendors and activities. (Spokane7)

Plenty in the area to choose from to celebrate this weekend! We wish you a happy and fun Fourth of July!
