Coeur d’Alene has so many unique places to visit. Now, many people know about the floating green that the Coeur d’Alene Resort has with its golf course. What many may not know about, however, is the Cedars Floating Restaurant. You read that right, it’s a restaurant on water. (Placed perfectly at the juncture of Lake Coeur d’Alene and the Spokane River.)

Check out their history, since 1965 when they opened, they’ve had quite the time keeping the place in top shape. Everything from spring melt water to high waves and winds have beset the place, but it’s still in place, held by 600,000 pounds of concrete encased Styrofoam, and still offers delicious food.

Cedars features fresh fish available daily and Midwest and locally sourced Choice Beef.

Considering its location, it’s no surprise that the restaurant offers a breathtaking view to go along with its Cedar Plank Salmon and Biergarten Filet.

Add to that the fine wine selection and a full service bar, and The Cedars might be the perfect place for your next holiday party or birthday event! You can even pull up your boat at one of their docks instead of driving in.
