Now let’s be clear, we here at Lake Escapes Boat Rentals love all things boating—waterskiing, wakeboarding, fishing, even water sliding off a pontoon 😉—that’s the reason we’ve been posting a series about boating safety. You can check out some of those posts at the following links: Boating with Our Furry Friends and 5 Tips for Wake Surfing Safely. But we also love the Coeur d’Alene area because it’s a wonderland for just about any activity you like to do. And one of the local favorites might just be the 2nd Friday Art Walk in Downtown Coeur d’Alene.

What’s the 2nd Friday Art Walk, You Ask?

The Art Walk is exactly what it sounds like. After a day of waterskiing on the 2nd Friday of every month, you can head into Downtown CDA and wander through the streets to see artwork from both local and nationally acclaimed artists.

It’s a free, family friendly event that brings support for artists while also bringing people into the local galleries, shops, and restaurants. (You might even find a new favorite restaurant while you’re at it.) A couple common supporters include Taphouse Unchained and Tito’s Italian Grill.

When: The 2nd Friday of every month from 5-8pm

Where: Usually around the Sherman Avenue area but be sure to check the flyer for specifics

For more information, check out artsandculturecda.org, where they post current flyers each month showing participating artists and local businesses along with a map.
