(Photo find Trip Advisor. It’s called Post Falls Park. It’s a blip on the drive between Coeur d’Alene, ID and Spokane, WA.

However…

Just because it’s easy to blink and miss on the drive doesn’t mean there aren’t fun things to do in the area. Plus, it’s got a couple of water related activities that might be right up a boat lovers alley, if you know what I mean.

First of all:

There’re the Post Falls themselves. Want a little water beauty to satisfy the boating itch without actually getting on a boat? (You’re a little strange it that’s the case, but we’ll over look it =)) Check out the falls. You can take your family and the dog with you.

Second of all:

Post Falls Park also offers a fishing pond for youth and handicapped individuals. Want to teach the youngin’ how to fish? Here’s a perfect place to show him or her the ropes. Check out this 22-acre city park with its picnic shelters, walking paths, playground, and views of the nearby gorge all while teaching your children the basics of catching fish. So when you’re debating how to pass a beautiful summer day in the Inland Northwest area, here’s one more option to add to your list. Know of any others? We’d love to hear about them.
