You might call this our marathon run of posts. In our last post we let you know about the CDA Marathon. Now, it’s time to talk about one of the best known races not only in the area, but in the world. We particularly like it because there’s a swim portion in Lake Coeur d’Alene. It’s the 2023 CDA Ironman!
2023 CDA Ironman
This year is the 20th anniversary for the Ironman in our beautiful Idaho location. Compete in a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run, all in the pristine, gorgeous terrain of Northern Idaho. As we said above, we particularly love that there’s a swim in Lake Coeur d’Alene, but if that’s not enough to draw you in, much of the run and bike portion of the marathon follow the lake shore. You’ll get fantastic lake views through the entire race!
When: June 25, 2023

Also, the 2023 CDA Ironman is part of the VinFast Ironman North America Series. What this means is that it has qualifying slots for the Vinfast race for the men in France this September and for the women in Hawai’I this October.
